The Perfect Golf Swing – Are you a Hack too? Are your scores embarrassing? Then you will want to read my blog. I am on a quest to get my golf scores to a better than hack average. Most leagues I golf on the average score for nine is 48. Is this you?
I am trying to get a grooved golf swing where I can score in the low 40′s or upper 30′s and be the best or second best golfer in the league. Would you like to do that also. Then follow me on my quest, see me work on it and learn from me. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
First I want to tell you that most of these events occurred previously and the tails about my current golfing scores have been occurring over the summer. It is November as I post these but the current events happened June, July, August, September, October and November of 2010.
If you are just now starting to read my blog I would advise that you go to the beginning and read back up to these current posts so that you understand how life got in front of golf and what led to the loss of my golf swing and how I am getting it back.

It is Sunday and my wife and I go golfing still working on the perfect golf swing.
OMG! They are lined up 4some, 4some, 3some, 3some and then my wife and I. Well we wait almost as half hour to tee off. But once we get past the second hole we seem to move pretty good. Because we are right on top of the three-some in front of us, I am hitting shots I wouldn’t use in those situations.
I am still trying to get the perfect golf swing but I am beginning to think that what I should be looking for is something else. Right now my hits on the various clubs are not consistent. That is true for most hacks. We will hit most clubs differently every time we use a club. Doesn’t matter which club it is hit differently. So it is a matter of practice makes perfect.
I tee off with my two iron on the first hole as the group in front of us is hitting their third shot about 260 out. So I am here to practice and enjoy my wife’s company. I hit the two iron about 220 and I am right by the 150 mark. It went right down the middle on an almost perfect trajectory. Nice shot.
They are still on the green so I use my wedge to see how far it would go. It went about 90 yards. I also want to practice my chipping so it serves two purposes. I am 60 yards from the green and seeing that we have an elevation difference as the hole is reverse camel back and I am in the front I try a pitch and run with my seven iron. I get on the green but just barely and I find the pin beyond half way towards the back. I two putt and all is well.
I am using irons almost exclusively so that I can determine how far they go and if I can hit them straight. It is not until the fourth hole that I use my driver. Not very good, I skuff my driver and it goes about 220 yards. But it is down the middle. I continue this irradict play and decide I am going to the driving range tomorrow for more practice.
I forgot to mention, I got my driver back from my buddy with the new grip along with my three metal with a new grip. Boy do I like the feel of it. The grip is soft and just a nice feel. The grips cost my $9 apiece and he put them on for free. So for almost $19 with tax I have new clubs.
Next post, the driving range trying to get the perfect golf swing.
