I had my golf swing figured out? I have to learn how to swing in golf swing
First I want to tell you that most of these events occurred previously and the tails about my current golfing scores have been occurring over the summer. It is October as I post these but the current events happened June, July, August and September of 2010.
If you are just now starting to read my blog I would advise that you go to the beginning and read back up to current so that you understand what I am talking about.

I thought I had it all figured out and my golf swing would soon improve.
Well, things were getting so bad that there was talk of losing one shift of production. Again based on my experience, where there is smoke there is fire.
What that mean’s, it was only a matter of time til a shift was gone.
Where would I fit, had I done enough to make me desirable over established members of the team? Well, soon they were asking for volunteers to take early retirement packages. What I also found was I could not stand most of the people in this plant. The people I came in contact with were more concerned about what was in it for them, then anything else.
I was bypassed for the retirement package but saw in the news papers that they had not filled their quota. They were going to go around for a second try. I went running up to our plant managers office. He and I were pretty good friends. We had grown up together in another plant and ran into each other on numerous occassions during our climb up the corporate ladder.
He did not play golf. He had other off time activities that were much more expensive then golf. He had a fairly large boat and loved to be on that as much as possible. Anyway, I went to him to see about getting one of those packages. He asked me why and I gave him my considerable long list of why I thought it was best that I get an early retirement. He thought it over for a minute and said that he would consider it and I thanked him and left.
About two weeks later, my boss came by and asked if I wanted to retire. I played it coyly and said maybe and I would have to discuss it with my wife. All I thought of after that was how often I would be at the golf course and how I would get those pesky golf scores down like the old days.
