How To Achieve the Perfect Golf Swing

The Perfect Golf Swing – How to achieve the perfect golf swing but first I want to tell you that most of these events occurred previously and the tails about my current golfing scores have been occurring over the summer. It is October as I post these but the current events happened June, July, August and September of 2010.

If you are just now starting to read my blog I would advise that you go to the beginning and read back up to current so that you understand how life got in front of golf and what led to the loss of my golf swing and how I am getting it back.

My back swing slowed down but other adjustments were needed to get the perfect golf swing.

I slowed my back swing and by doing that it got me more in control. I hit more shots and did not continue to dig up the golf course with every golf swing. Sometimes my divot was big enough to be used as a toupee or even a wig. So by slowing down the back swing I had more control. But I was still pulling the ball left.

One night or early morning, I woke up and could not go back to sleep. I began thinking about all kinds of things including a way to have a better golf swing. All of a sudden I just sat straight up. I remembered, I remembered! Holy crap! I used to have that same issue when I was playing well but I was able to compensate by tucking my right elbow in close to my body on my down swing. It would also make it easier for me to kind of push my swing out along the flight path.

I couldn’t wait to try it. As a matter of fact, I went to the driving range that day and began hitting the ball like I used to when I was younger and better. My next league night, I would hit the ball much better but I had to make sure to concentrate. I then remembered that I used to say that to myself when I was really good. Why do I have to concentrate so hard to make this good shot. There must be a better way. Well I never found it and still I have not found it.

If I don’t concentrate, I will hit a bad shot. I must bring my swing back slowly and when I go forward I pretend like I am throwing a rock into the water to make it skip. Elbow tucked in close to my body and a push out board with my right fore arm.

Now I began hitting the balls much better with my driver but I was still having issues with distances with my driver and my irons were still very inconsistant.

What to do with my distance to get the perfect golf swing. See in my next post.
