Golf Tips Fairway Bunker Shots

As a part of playing golf your golf tips for today is how to play fairway bunker shots. This is a shot that we never practice unless you are lucky enough to hit balls at a golf range that has a practice sand trap.

But even those have traps that are used mostly for around the green type shots and I must tell you that all of the time I have been to the driving range I have only seen some one in it once and it was me.

As scary as bunkers can be for a lot of players, something about a fairway bunker can seem like a death sentence.

If you feel like you’re helpless every time your ball ends up in a fairway bunker, try these tips to get the ball out and on the green just as if you were in the fairway!

• The ball doesn’t know it’s in a bunker. Unlike greenside bunkers, a fairway bunker requires clean contact with the ball.
