Golf, How to Swing Your Driver

You know, it doesn’t seem to matter how easy you make your simple golf swing, there are always adjustments you can do to make the game better for good golf scores.

This golf tip is golf, how to swing your driver.

The first part of the tip is to make sure you hit the club on the upward swing of the club. Fuzzy Zeller says that he likes to get good height with the drive as it makes for more distance. Also, you must determine where the sweet spot is so that you can adjust from there.

He tries to hit the ball on a location between the middle of the sweet spot and the top of the face of the club. This gives him maximum height and distance.

In order to get this location you must tee the ball slightly higher. You will have to experiment at the driving range to determine that location and height of the ball on the tee.

You should get self adhesive labels for your golf clubs. The particular brand I got has about 14 labels which include sizes for drivers and irons. It cost me about six dollars but when you hit a ball it will leave the dimple pattern on the label so that you can tell where the ball was struck on the club face.

In order to get this right, you need to practice your swing to get a consistent golf swing. You will be amazed when you see the marks on your label as to how inconsistent you are with your swing.

This should go with the tip I gave you on the last post and take a practice swing with the driver and find the location of the place where you scrape the ground looking for the arcs bottom. But instead of locating the ball at the beginning you want to locate the ball on the tee just after the end of the scrape to catch the club on it’s arc is starting up.

And like I have been telling you, I have not found one technique that fits my golf swing.

I use some from the Simple golf swing as my primary but I also use from natural golf, and two others that I have purchased golf swing tips from.

Does it get confusing? Yes! But I work my way through them and take time to analyze which is best for me. The one thing that is consistent with all of them is the half swing. To help keep it simple, I only take my back swing so that the trailing(left) arm is just slightly higher then parallel with the ground. This is a swing that is repeatable.

See what I mean. So between the Golf Channel, YouTube and golf swing gurus ebooks/videos,  I find a lot of things that will help me get better golf scores. Of course, practice helps a lot to make the golf swing repeatable.
