The Golf Swing – Do you think of yourself as a hack on the golf course? Are you embarrassed to tell your golf scores to anyone? Then you will want to read my blog. I am on a quest to get my golf scores to a better than hack average. Both leagues I golf on the average score for nine is 48. Is this you? My average was 49.
It has been said that the average for all golfers is 99.9 for 18 holes and there are 26 million golfers. So, don’t feel lonely. There are lots of us in that hackers range and many more even worse.
I am trying to get a grooved golf swing where I can score in the low 40′s or upper 30′s and be the best or second best golfer in the league. Would you like to do that also. Then follow me on my quest, see me work on it and learn from me. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
First I want to tell you that most of these events occurred previously and the tails about my current golfing scores have been occurring over the summer. I began this blog in October and it is now November as I post these but the current events happened June, July, August, September, October and November of 2010.
If you are just now starting to read my blog I would advise that you go to the beginning and read back up to these current posts so that you understand how life got in front of golf and what led to the loss of my golf swing and how I am getting it back.

Even with all of the experimentation I am still in third place with only tonight and next week.
My golf swing feels good. My first drive is almost perfect. A long high drive down the middle with a slight draw that puts me 40 yards past the 150 mark. A great way to start out. My golf partner is one of the worst golfers in the league. He is third worst in scores. Just a reminder we play two man scambles every week with a different partner pairing.
We only play 15 weeks and there are 24 golfers in the league so that we don’t get to play with everybody. Watching him play, I wonder how bad these other two guys are that he is only the third worst. He digs divots on every shot and hits left, oh well all over. He takes a huge divot on every shot and complains about not hitting the ball very far.
There is only one stipulation in the league rules that we must follow and that is we must each have three drives or more. Well I am asking that he keep it in bounds for the first par three and he does but we are over 100 yards away from a 154 yard hole. We both hit on the green and we use my shot and he sinks the putt for a par 3.
The next hole, the sun is in our face it is setting and hard to see. Nobody sees my drive and we just don’t know where it is. He smashes his drive about 40 yards just short of the woman’s tee. We look all over but cannot find my ball. We look left, center and right but no luck so we go back to his ball.
I get lucky and hit a good three metal and then we chip on the green and two putt for a bogey five. Two drives for him and one for me. The round gets better and I am hitting the drives like crazy.
We get to the second par three and it has a pond in front. I hit to the fringe on the right side just about pin high. But I am looking to use his drive. So he hits his shot and it goes into the pond. Yikes! That means we will have to use his drive on one of the par fours or the par five. 6 cheap propecia Shoot!
Well we do but I was not able to get another par until the last hole and we ended up with a 43. Not bad!
He has a swing like nothing I have ever seen. I don’t know how to even describe it to you. If it were not for the league method of playing he would have a 65 average for nine holes but the league set up has him at a 54 average. I have played in the same foursome with him three times now and there is always someone trying to help him with his swing. But I see no difference.
Having different people try to help you is a problem. Everyone does it differently. There are no two people that will tell you to do something the same way. What ends up happening is you get confused and do nothing or just go back to what you were doing because there is no significant change.
So, Buy Viagra online the only suggestion I would give you good friends is to tell the player that needs help that he/she should find a certified golf swing instructor. Learn from a pro and follow his/her lead and no one else.
I have a pretty sweet golf swing right now but I still am having problems with consistency and hitting distances with my pitching irons. Still I get people wanting to help me change my swing as they think they see a flaw based on their knowledge. I will listen and try it and see if it will help but if it is contrary to what I am being taught by my online instructor and it doesn’t change anything then I won’t use it. Thank you very much.
